These terms and conditions govern the use of the Morley Auctioneers website and our auction services. By using our website or participating in our auctions, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Auction Terms

All items are sold as described in the catalogue. Descriptions are given in good faith but do not constitute a warranty. Buyers are encouraged to inspect lots prior to bidding. All sales are final once the hammer falls.

Fees and Charges

Fee	Rate
Buyer’s Premium	20% on the hammer price
Listing Fee	£2 per lot for vendors
Seller’s Commission	18% of the hammer price

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 7 days of the auction. We accept bank transfer, cash, and debit card payments. Items must be collected or shipping arranged within 14 days of the sale. Storage charges may apply after this period.

Vendor Payment

Vendors receive payment within 21 working days of the auction by bank transfer. A detailed settlement statement is provided with each payment.

Online Bidding

Online bidding is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform (The Saleroom, Easylive Auction, BidSpirit). Additional charges may apply for online purchases as set by those platforms.

Liability

Morley Auctioneers acts as agent for the vendor. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to items while in our care except where such loss or damage results from our negligence. Our total liability shall not exceed the hammer price of the lot in question.

Disputes

Any disputes shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
